Wood Blewit (Lepista nuda)
What you are seeing is one of the most sought after fungi of the woods. This fungus has a bluish-lilac colour (particularly under the cap) and a strong perfumed smell. The cap starts out as a lilac colour then turns brownish and eventually pale. They are extremely nice to eat and are out now. If you are in doubt about the id then look for the strongly coloured bluish-lilac gills under the cap.
