i never thought

i'd like waking up to someone. i've always been such a protector of my personal space but with him, it feels so easy and comfortable.

he makes me feel like being me is the best thing there is.
he laughs at my silliness and kisses away my fears.
he likes to hover while i cook, sneaking kisses as i chop and stir.
he wraps his body around me in sleep and i don't feel smothered.
not one bit.

he's good for me.
