#12 Lanzarotte ~ Wine anyone?

We went on a tour of the south of the Island, to the camel ride area??? can't think of a better word for it. we had a miserable day wet foggy, but warm at least, followed by a trip up the fire mountains, they are an amazing sight, you have yo go, sadly not happy with the 100s of pictures i took, mainly due to the lighting and the fact the pics had to mainly be taken out of rain streaked coach windows as you can't get lout to take pictures (which i totally agree with to preserve them but hard work to get a decent shot)

after a trip round the edge of a sleeping volcano it was off to the vinyards. now sadly i didn't like the vino i tried but i'm sure they do make some nice ones,

these protective walls around the vines face north (to protect from the harsh north wind)

after we got dropped back home we had some lunch then at 3pm the sun came out and it was way too warm! we were begging for the clouds but not the rain to come back out!
