Walking My New SLR

I finally took my new SLR out for a short walk this evening on the way to pick up dinner (yes, I managed a Friday night in!). I caught sight of the lights and colours of this street which I have never noticed before. I really like the weight of the 550D compared to my old 40D and have fallen in love with my 50mm fixed lens (I actually didn't feel the need to post-process this photo at all, which is quite unusual). I can't believe I have had an SLR for 2 years and only just now bought one! I'm looking forward to learning how to use my new camera and am extremely excited about the photo course in December that I just signed up for today! Long overdue as I currently have no idea what I'm doing...
