Reindeer

We drove to Glenmore today for a day out.

The Glenmore visitor's centre was very interesting and the campsite and shop brought back a flood of memories, as did a walk on the shore of Loch Morlich.

The Reindeer centre was a bit of let down though. We paid for the paddock visit only and were disappointed. It's tired looking and the reindeer were led away as soon as we arrived.

So we drove up to Cairngorm and the funicular railway - more memories!!

As I remembered from all those years ago, the reindeer roam free on the mountainside.

This fine fellow was very obliging being so close to the roadside.
