Wedding Dress Crazyness!

So Vanessa came over just to "try on" the wedding dress today. It fit her perfectly! We looked outside, we noticed there was still sunlight out. We quickly decided to drive as fast as we could to the park! This was going to be fun...

She got out of the car and we ran over to a park bench to try a couple of poses. Some of them turned out kind of nice. I'd definitely try them again when we go out for real.

I had her sit on the swings, at first formally, but then we became quite silly! It was pretty funny watching her dress blow all over the place. haha!

When we got tired of that, and really lost all light to the darkness, we thought, "hmm, where can we go that would be funny to see a girl in a wedding dress..." So NATURALLY we ended up at the mall!

We picked up our friend Claire to videotape it too. Vanessa was pretending to be a frantic bride looking to buy an emergency pair of whtie shoes. She stopped to ask directions from two guys standing at the mall, just to see their reaction to her. We knew where we were going, we're just bums! ;o)

We continued to run down the mall, all the while I'm snapping pictures of peoples stupified faces! We reached Zellers and hunted around for a sales clerk to help us find her some white slippers. We
found one, who lead us to the right rack.

They had a short conversation while looking through the boxes that went like this,

"Are you really gettin' married or is this somethin' else?"

"NOPE! I'm gettin' married!!"

"Oh. Congratulations."

"Thaaankyoouuu...."

It was pretty awesome, I'm tellin' you folks. We got like 3 "congratulations", one "good luck", and a million whispers and stares.

Man, that reminds me, don't I have anything better to do with my time?!

... not really.
