Gloves

I took a short-cut through the city bus station today, parts of it were closed off due to a re-vamp taking place.
Most of the people painting were teenagers sporting fluorescent jackets with the words "Community payback" on the back, I wonder whether these gloves were meant to be worn along with the overalls and jackets but were deemed a step too far by an image concious teen?

I had nothing but admiration for the adult in charge, trying to persuade a bunch of reluctant teens to paint at 10am on a chilly Friday morning is no mean task!
