Sweets

I have the house to myself tonight.
So... PARTY?! Cecilia brought me pizza and sweets for a night in.
I'm watching "Comedy Central", pretty much the only channel in English.
American stand up is dire. There is no other word for it.

Although, the cider the brought me was 0.7% alcoholic.
It's set to be a wild Friday night in.

They eat so many sweets here. There is a tradition of Saturday Sweets, where children only eat sweets on a Saturday. I got the impression it was an old tradition but I was told the other day it came from a social experiment to try and cut down how many sweets people eat. I don't know if it's true but if it is it's quite interesting...
