Chocolate Chip

This probably marks the beginning of a lot of indoor blips. I'm hoping the good ideas in other journals will inspire me through our long winter.

There were good things about today: To begin with, it was sunny, if wildly windy.

And home to find a plate of these on the table! The fragrance met me before I'd opened the door.

Daughter K is home with us convalescing after surgery to repair her broken nose. Am I wrong to enjoy that so much?

(Be reassured, as I am, that the breakage was water sports related. She's not the brawling type.)
