The Femur

It has....

The head, the fovea, the neck, the greater trochanta and the lesser trochanta, a groove called the trochantic fossa. The intertrochanteric line on the anteria surface and the intertochanteric crest on the posterior surface and the quadrate tubercle. It has a shaft, the linea aspera, the pechtineal line, the medial and lateral supracondylar ridge. It has the patella surface, the medial condyle, the lateral condyle, the medial and lateral epicondyles and the intercondylar notch.

There is also the gluteral tuberosity and the adducter tubercle which i have no idea where they are, i've just about got the rest. Ish.

I could also tell you an awful lot about the structure and histology of bone but maybe i'll leave that for another day.

And that is just the beginning. I think my head might explode before Christmas.
