Visitor

My son's class had a scaly visitor this morning. The letter of the week is P, so the kids all brought something for show and tell that started with the letter P. My son brought in a fancy glass pen that you dip in ink to write with.

This young man brought in an albino python. Wow. It sured caused a ruckus at the school with teachers making their way out of the building, while others were grabbing their cameras.

It was definitely exciting for the kindergarten kids, and they each (if they wanted to) got to pet the snake. Its name is Bananas, apparently because of its yellowish color due to the albinism.

I was glad to remember I had this photo since the rest of the day went to pot!
