Porto Colom

There is something lovely about sitting in a cafe watching the boats and looking at the sun glistening off the water.

This is a photo of the water between the boat houses which lie underneath the promenade at Porto Colom.

In contrast, we swapped the tranquil pace of the day for an air-hockey and pool challenge tonight - we can still give these teenagers a run for their money!! This was after we had downed giant pizzas - ordered 3 'party pizzas' between the six of us and got to choose our 5 toppings for each. The owner was quite a character and enjoyed throwing the dough up, then round and round in the air to entertain us. It was not a posh restaurant, not a tourist place, just a good old authentic pizza joint with checked table covers and plastic seats - there was even Spanish TV to watch!
