This is the breathtaking ceiling of Teatro Regio, in Parma where I was screening one of my films. Imagine how nervous I was at screening a half hour version of Rigoletto, with puppets, in English, at the verdi Festival and the theatre most associated with Verdi. If any audience had the right to be critical it was them, but I was overwhelmed by their response. They adored it.
