Folly Beach, South Carolina. Just south of Charleston.

It was a long day of travel, but here we are. Tomorrow is the wedding, in the sand just below the overlook where I took this shot at sunset tonight.

Everyone is excited! All three of my sons are in the wedding party, and the groom is their best friend and spiritual brother. We used to call them "three sticks of dynamite and a match." You can guess why!

Now they are all grown up, the youngest is 24 and living with his girlfriend. Ryan is the first to get married, but Matt is engaged and Justin already has a baby daughter.

We are embarking on a new phase. And what wonderful friends we have raised to join us now on the "adult" side of the fence.
