Our Star

The theme of this weekends challenge is 'Energy'
Maybe it's because I spent most of my time at school and all my time at university studying biology that the Sun was the first thing that i thought of.

The sun provides energy to plants, which are then eaten by animals which are in turn eaten by other animals. Life on Earth is sustained by the energy from the Sun*.

Here we have the sun seen through the leaves of a tree (and also via a mylar filter which is why i still have eyes :-)



*With the exception of some weird animals that live deep in the oceans.
