Football this afternoon, a basement battle in Division Two of the Scottish Football League between Peterhead and Dumbarton.

Both teams have had disappointing starts to the season.

The only goal of the game was scored by Peterhead early in the second half, somewhat against the run of play.

Dumbarton played some reasonable football but were unable to find the killer touch in front of goal.

No-one ever said it was easy being a Dumbarton fan. At least as I am in exile I don't have to suffer this frustration every week.
