Shipwreck

Puttering around in the garden today. Found the old Klompen boat (Dutch wooden shoe boat) that we've had for years. It was nice and new in 2002 when we got it in The Netherlands at Zaanse Schans Open Air Museum in Zaandam, Noord-Holland (North-Holland) - which is a collection of historic buildings in a village setting with folks in costume, etc. Well worth the time to visit.

We used to have a toad that liked to sit in the back of the boat like some squat captain. It looked cool when it did that. Alas, this boat is rotting away. We'll have to go back to Holland and get another, I guess.
