Long Story Short

A bookcrossing update.

I joined bookcrossing 7 days ago. Since then I have 'released' about 20 of my read books with the book labels in them. These have been in various place including some Official Book Crossing Zones ( OBCZ ) Our local one is the Purple Dog Pub. They have a shelf in the pub where you can pick up books and drop some off.

I found out about the site from a fellow blipper here called Marthamonkey so it's seems fitting that the first book I found 'randomly' was a book from a friend of a fellow blipper lisa24270.

The world is certainly full of happy coincidences and random connections.

So the story behind this Iain Banks book ( another coincidence because I've just finished Transition ) is that we went in to the Hospice Shop in town to buy a couple of cheap plastic swords for the kids and I had a little look at the books and saw this one. I only noticed it had a bookcrossing sticker inside when I got home.
