bear

Sophie and her bear. She's had this bear from the day she was born. There's a picture of it with her in her cot at the hospital. The bear, called 'Beertje', or Little Bear in English is slightly the worse for wear, the stuffing long ago having disappeared; the arms and legs dangle alongside, useless and withered. Sophie took Beertje downstairs this morning to give him his annual bath, but we're not sure he'll survive the procedure. At the moment Sophie told Beertje the news, i got the iphone out and pressed the shutter.
