Maddy's second cousin (I think, my cousins daughter) was down yesterday and the two of them went to see Santa at the falkirk wheel.

Apparently a good trip for the kids as it included a boat ride round the wheel and down to his secret grotto, time with Santa and a present.

Lst night we headed out for a meal to commemorate the fact that wednesday was my cousins birthday and Friday mine. It was quite enjoyable too, the Italian in Queensferry seems to be pretty decent.

They are off to Deep Sea World now before my relatives head back up the road to Aberdeen and Maddy descends on our peaceful sunday again.
