Swimming Against The Tide

First Frost

OK, maybe not ACTUALLY the first frost of the winter (I seem to recall getting ice off the windscreen during a cold spell a few weeks ago), but the first time we've actually woken up to a white-covered outside.

I was lying in bed this morning, casually commenting about chocolate oranges on my facebook page, when the Wonderspouse returned to the bedroom, without tea, telling me I might want to get the camera. He also added that I might need a dressing gown too!

So, there I was, in the garden, BEFORE tea, sustained only by 200mg of quetiapine, taking photos of the lawn. And, of course, the chatty old man of the village came along, walking his dog (I DID need that dressing gown), and stopped by for a chat.

Anyway, the result of it all, as well as jolly cold toes, was this blip!

In other news, we're still really tired. It's another day snuggled up on the sofa watching videos and gently snoozing. This is what this holiday is about!
