Oyster Festival

It is the Falmouth Oyster Festival. There is a parade through town with representatives from the local schools. Bella's class are parading. They made a beautiful clam boat surrounded by the sea and seagulls.

Yesterday Bella was one of 10 from her school who took part in a mini Ready Steady Cook competition as part of the Oyster Festival. The chef she was with brought in a bucket of live prawns. Bella's job was watch them in the pan until they turned pink!

Although both she and Ally afterwards said it was cruel - didn't seem to stop either of them trying them though.
