Sunflower

A home grown sunflower - very late in coming out on account of the fact that I planted them in a shady spot - there's a clue in the name so not very bright of me at all really! It is absolutely my favourite flower - never fails to make me smile when I see one.

Also, it is our 5th wedding anniversary today. I had thought it was on the 5th, but as Shirley pointed out to me - I had the right numbers in the date - just the wrong order! for next year, note to self - we got married on 8/10/5 and not 5/10/8. Another easy mistake to make..... ho hum
