A Day in the Country

My sister has fulfilled her dream - a house and a barn and chicken and rabbits and a room with a view to some acres of land. A dining room with a table for her mum and her sisters and her sisters´ children and her sister´s child´s child (that would be my beloved grandson :-)

So we have spent the day with dirt under our finger nails (that would not be me, I keep to the clean business of taking pictures :-)

Little nephew here is a brave soul. I asked him, could I have a photo with you and one of the cockrels? He ran and he chased, wings fluttering, sand and grass and little stones in the air, a choir of cackle and screech and......

.....and then he caught it.....
