Plover

There are still a few plovers left on the shore. I think this is a semipalmated. There was another running around with an injured wing. I don't suppose that one will make it south this winter. Glad I got a shot of one at last, even if it isn't the greatest picture in the world. They are not very big and they move very fast!

We have semipalmated sandpipers on the beach in the summertime too. Hands up anyone who knows what semipalmated means.

Forgot to reset the iso after the train shot yesterday. Aaagghh. Looks OK though.
