At the end of the rod lies a fish...

well maybe not. This was taken as I visited 'the one that goes fishing' to deliver some edible supplies and I thought this picture captured a feeling of serenity. I often feel that fishing is quite a dull sport, (if you call it a sport), however on this particular evening to sit under canvas by a lake on a pleasant (but somewhat chilly) evening felt strangely relaxing. Once I settled into the bedchair and the dog joined me, I could have happily stayed a lot longer whiling away the time watching for ripples on the water surface and watching the sunset. But, then I remembered I don't really like fishing and headed for the warmth of home.
