Amongst the waves

Had to make the most of the morning as I was in work this afternoon. It was super, still and mild, and Ollie and I set off round the shore. Lots of rabbits, herons and 3 ravens. As there is a decided lack of trees in Orkney, the herons and ravens nest on the cliffs.

These shags were a lot slower moving than the herons or ravens, so they got blipped! One of them had a great length of fishing line trailing from its beak. It didn't seem to be affecting it, it was acting the same as the others, which was a good job as I couldn't do anything about it.

Got to work only to be told I was needed at 8am on Monday morning - my day off!
