Toady

Having signed on recently I was wondering how to start this journal when in the middle of the night I thought of Toady. Walking to the kitchen the other night to put out the lights I saw something dark on the carpet and on looking further discovered it was a baby toad which had somehow got into the house. Days before our neighbour across the way had seen a toad with a baby outside their back door so obviously they were now calling on us! He was released again.
This morning I gathered my toad collection and here they are - the large one came as a present from Thailand (he has been found in the West Indies too!), the smaller one from Japan about a 100 years ago by a relative, and the green one from New Zealand.
