UNHAPPILY WINTER

This morning it was cold. These old stone houses are very cold. And there was a brisk wind. This poor vendor in the Mirepoix market shows you how to dress in the cold if you have to stand there for 3 - 4 hours. Our "carmometer" said it was 5.5 degrees. Add wind chill and it must feel close to zero.

We have had lots of guests. Now we are alone. So I will not complain about the cold. Instead I will take a good book, sit in front of the fire, and relish the silence...
