Treasures - carpet detail

This is a detail from a Turkish silk on silk carpet of a scene from Istanbul.

I bought the carpet, which I hang on the wall, when I was touring and visited the national carpet school in Denizli, not far from the spectacular Pammukale.

Apart from its inherent beauty, it brings back such memories.
