A lazy Sunday. Tim and Sarah came for lunch with Ben and Maya. Although only four Ben seemed very grown up and independent, whilst Maya surveyed everything with her enormous blue eyes. It feels almost unbelievable that mine were once so small and it was a real treat to hold Maya in my arms. The food went down well and we had a good catch up. The rest of the day was spent on the sofa with Nick, reading the papers in the warmth of the woodburner.
