The labour of love

I've never pickled onions before,
Chris,my husband adores them so thought I'd try,
Donned the rubber gloves and got pealing,
Had to stop every few minutes to wipe the tears,
By the time I finished there was only enough for 2 jars,
Anyway he's happy.
