Saudade

Saudade: a Portuguese word for a feeling of longing for someone or something that one is fond of, which is gone, but might return in a distant future.

Saudade is one of my favourite words, considered to be one of the hardest to translate.
Most languages have a version of it.
If you have saudade in you, you know exactly what it means.
