Sunrise and a prayer

This was the sunrise through my classroom window this morning. Different to yesterday but still rather striking.

What is not such a good thing is that this is becoming all I am seeing of sunlight during the week... Working crazy hours this week. But have a day off on friday and then half term so thats something.

I have realised though that I'm not going to be able to keep blipping every day once the days get shorter still. This makes me sad, and I'm going to keep going as long as possible...

Also, please say a prayer for my mum. She's having an operation as I type this. Everyone says its not serious, and I guess it isnt at all, but to me it is serious, because she's my mum and she's under anesthetic in someone else's hands. I just hope they realise how precious she is.
