Day's End

So from yesterday's blip at daybreak to today's at almost bedtime!

I did rush out at suppertime to catch this rainbow but my lovely daughter got there first!

So it's not quite the moon tonight, it is very very high in the sky and gibbous ...isn't that a FANTASTIC word??

Again I am hanging out the top window and what you have is The Lookout, the moon's reflection in the sea and a small planet, and a boat on the horizon.

The planet is allegedly Jupiter, but my source is a 12 year old, with his telescope from Argos so don't quote me on that!
