Seems like the old proverb was spot on today. Poppy's wonderful sunrise this morning turned into a grey, brooding, rain sodden afternoon. Took this just as the light was going.

We did the swimming, shopping, do things that need done stuff this morning and came home to spend the afternoon holed up in front of the fire, watching films on TV. Well I say watching but really I snoozed. My Dad trained me well, he reckons that the test of a good afternoon movie is if you can watch the first ten minutes, fall asleep, wake up to see the last ten minutes and still know what happened then it gets 10/10. James Bond in Diamonds are Forever scored highly today.
