Game on!

The boy and I went collecting conkers last weekend near his weekend pottery class, but we were a bit late and only managed to collect a pile of piddly wee ones.

Fortunately a good mate of mine told me he passes a chestnut tree when he gets off his train on his way into the office. At the weekend he dropped off a big bag of hero-size conkers.

So, me and the boys will be doing the conker thing sometime soon.

We won't be wearing goggles, protective headwear or body-armour, because we're that tough. Don't be grassing me up to Health and Safety now.
