windowdribble
Lovely weather this morning which prevented me from trundling down to the Newton shore to do some long-exposure lapping-wavelet pics. It has probably rained without fail every time I've been to Ayr, usually kicking in shortly after passing the "Welcome to South Ayrshire" sign on the A77(?). We avoided the sign this time by travelling by train (car wheel replaced but flat by the time we'd gone the half-mile to the flat; rim bashed to hell after tyre burst and not going 160 miles on the spare) but the rain caught up with us the next day. Uneventful journey back; plenty of irritating people on the train but none of them stayed still long enough to photograph.
Within minutes of getting in I had to start ripping up the flooring ready for the central heating engineers' arrival on Tuesday. A previous occupant's strange ideas about attractive bedroom floor design are now exposed. I had remembered the green-and-yellow horror of the original kitchen floor but was unpleasantly surprised when this was once again revealed. Definitely prefer ripping up rather than putting down the flooring but I believe we'll replace it with the clicky-together stuff in case we ever need to access out pipes again.
Nothing much of interest occurred on the weekly trundle to dump off next week's shirts at work although I did devise a new stupid face in the mirror in the locker room.
Girlfriend's dad's computer was too slow to post yesterday's picture yesterday so it's
here if anyone's interested.
