En-lighten me....

The light the last couple of days has been stunning as I wandered just soaking up the lovely October weather with the mad pooch. I am off work this week so relaxing muchly. Light makes such a difference to even the most mundane things........

However it does not seem to help the daft dug's squirrel chasing skills :P

Night Wish

Night! Spreads wide her inky skirts to claim the sky!
Banishing the reluctant day to deepening violet dusk
Streaks of gold claw her darkening hem, and I
wish upon that first bright star
clear and bright as a cats eye
framed by a slender arc of silver Moon
That we could steal a few hours from the night, to lie
lost in selfish pleasure, in the secret sensuous night
