Pumpkin Carving

Jilly and I carved our pumpkins today. We went pumpkin picking two weeks ago, but my pumpkin was starting to rot, so it was time to carve them. No picture of the pumpkins for today since I didn't like the way they came out, but here's Elissa. She's wearing the glove that came with some pumpkin carving utensils.

While me and Jill were carving our pumpkins, Elissa decided she wanted to make pumpkin bread. Me and Jilly wanted to eat it, so we gave her our pumpkin guts to mush up in the blender to make her pumpkin bread. There was a slight problem though, we didn't have any baking powder. Just baking soda, so Elissa substituted it even though we all had a bad feeling about that substitution and turns out, you can't make pumpkin bread with out baking powder. Otherwise, you get pumpkin mush.
