Mescal Bean

Otherwise known as Texas Mountain Laurel. This bush us one of my favorite landscape plants. It has the most gorgeous purple flowers. Plus the shape of these beans is fascinating.

All parts of this bush, however, are poisonous. So admire its beauty but from a distance!
