To have a sense of humor,
And sweet emotions lift.
To cheer the hearts of others,
Would be a wondrous gift.

To hear a hearty laugh,
On the air come ringing.
To hear the happy side of life,
There's joy in what they're bringing.

To see the fun-face of a soul,
That's cheery all the while.
Will touch the bone that tickles most,
And stretch a broader smile.

To see a person reach for love,
Without an act of pouting.
Is like a feather in the wind,
No cause for ever doubting.

To be the center of a group,
And have a joker start.
Scatters sunshine all about,
And tickles every heart.
