Checking the route

Today's walk, "The Glendue Walk", was a delightful 11 mile route from Coanwood, via the Lambley Viaduct and then steeply up through the woods on the east side of the river South Tyne.

Here you see a group of walkers poring over the map so that they can follow the route.

It was a beautiful day and my 6th day of walking this week. The Festival is going very well.
