Flooded

Tonight we'd hoped to see an evening ceremony in the temple at Madurai. There were thousands of people there but heavy rain delayed the ceremony again and again. At around 11pm we finally gave up and decided to leave, to discover that the courtyard on the way out was flooded thigh deep by the storm.
