The local l'Arche

We started the day by visiting the l'Arche shop that's local to me. Rory works in l'Arche in Inverness and he was interested to see what the people in West Norwood make. They had a few different shapes of candles that Rory doesn't make in Inverness. He's gathered a few photographs and ideas and the lady at l'Arche said it was fine to copy them. Of course, we came away with a few colourful candles for our homes.

Afterwards, we took the train to London Bridge where my Harry Potter tour started. I pointed out all the magical creatures to Rory - griffins, dragons, hippocampuses, golden owls and merpeople. Monument is, of course, the Quidditch Cup and Leadenhall Market is Diagon Alley. We can't see the wizard shops because we're Muggles. At King's Cross, Rory tried to get to Platform 9 3/4, but his trolley stuck in the wall.

There was nothing for it but to head up to Camden and look at the shops there. We really enjoyed browsing around Stables Market.
