Shell Shocked!

This a a burnt tree in the Ousel Valley near the OU where is seems to have split into interesting shapes after a fire (cause unknown).

Today four of the OU camera club went out at lunchtime to take some pictures of this tree with its fascinating shapes and textures.

The real problem was selecting a set to put in my flickr account and even harder to chose one for here.
