'the past and pending'

the shins

coming back here is always a SEVERE love-hate relationship (as are most places in my life, I guess). one of the best/worst parts is discovering parts of my life that I had forgotten about or put aside.

I was reading earlier and found this rose between these pages. it COMPLETELY took me off guard. it's been there for at least three years. [for those interested, it's a harry potter book. besides being a dork, there WERE reasons at the time for putting it there. but it's all moot now, right?]



there's always so much more I want to say...


this was a big chapter [no pun intended] in my life.
weird to find it so randomly.

I'm excited to see what comes next.
