Autumn Sonata

Been very slack with photos lately - a combination of sulking over being back home instead of lounging in Croatia, relentlessly wet weather, and unforgiving, shorter daylight hours has left me very despondent!

Luckily the sun made a cursory appearance today, and it made the most of the increasingly bare trees during the late afternoon.

I managed to get in a few extra showing a bit more of the palette that can be seen from my house (on the scant occasions that the rain ends and the clouds lift) - but I think I liked the lazy late-afternoon glow of this one the most.

Oh and for anyone interested, I slowly loaded up a few of my trip to Croatia/Montenegro as backblips, but so as not to bore you and myself I kept it to only a half dozen or so snaps.
