steppin' out

i was all set to blip one photo when i made the mistake of stopping by some forlorne looking flowers on the way home from running errands.... they were all droopy... the weather's been just miserable of late. i'm not sure why i was even bothering to stop but something was pulling me. i bent over and almost missed them....

lady bugs blending in with the leaves.... green lady bugs? since when? i always thought the little things were red.... what's this with green now... fooling me. and when i looked again, there were several floating about on the petals. i snapped happily, then had a difficult time choosing a fave...settled on this one... he was steppin' out to join one of the others...
