Anticipating Him

After church, D and I went for lunch at the garden centre with JA, NA, MK, RK and EJM. It was a tonic to me as I'd been a bit of a mope all morning.

On the way out, we passed this nativity. Apart from being somewhat surprised to see it in October, we noticed that the manger was empty. Had someone put some thought into it and Baby Jesus's absence signifies that He isn't here yet?
